1. About This Policy
This Cookie & Similar Technologies Policy explains how YNCO Studio (“YNCO”, “YNCO Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies, browser storage, analytics technologies, security technologies, and similar mechanisms on yncostudio.com.
Not every technology described in this Policy is a cookie.
At the date of this Policy, the YNCO Studio website does not rely on advertising cookies or behavioral advertising pixels. Our current implementation primarily uses:
- Temporary browser storage to preserve Project Builder progress;
- Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate website usage analytics;
- Vercel Speed Insights for performance and Web Vitals measurement;
- Infrastructure and security technologies that may be necessary to operate and protect the website.
For broader information about how YNCO Studio processes personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of data that websites or service providers may store on a user's device or browser for purposes such as security, functionality, preferences, analytics, or advertising.
Websites can also use technologies that are not cookies but perform related functions, including:
sessionStorage;localStorage;- Browser APIs;
- First-party analytics scripts;
- Security and anti-abuse mechanisms;
- URL campaign parameters;
- Other browser or server-side identifiers.
This Policy covers relevant browser storage and similar technologies used by the YNCO Studio website, even when they are technically not cookies.
3. Technologies We Currently Use
3.1 Project Builder temporary storage
The Project Builder may temporarily store the user's:
- Project answers;
- Conversation state;
- Generated diagnosis;
- Approval or progress state.
This information is stored locally in the user's own browser using sessionStorage.
Purpose:
To allow the Project Builder to recover the user's progress and avoid losing work during the interaction.
Category:
Functional / preference-related technology.
Duration:
The application currently treats the draft as valid for approximately 2 hours from the last recorded update.
Because sessionStorage is controlled by the browser, the underlying browser entry may remain until the browser session ends or until the application next evaluates and clears expired information.
This temporary browser storage is not a persistent YNCO Studio lead database.
Information that the user actually submits through the Project Builder is processed separately as described in our Privacy Policy.
3.2 Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and navigation, such as page visits, routes, referral sources, approximate country or region, and general device or browser categories.
Vercel Web Analytics is implemented as first-party analytics and does not require traditional tracking cookies to identify visits.
Vercel describes its standard Web Analytics implementation as using a request-derived hash that does not enable tracking across different websites and is discarded after a limited period.
YNCO Studio also removes query strings and URL fragments from analytics events before they are sent to Vercel, reducing the risk that information accidentally included in URL parameters is transmitted through our analytics telemetry.
Purpose:
Understand aggregate website usage and improve the website experience.
Category:
Analytics.
Cookies:
No YNCO Studio analytics cookie is intentionally created by the current Vercel Web Analytics implementation.
3.3 Vercel Speed Insights
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure website performance and technical user experience, including Web Vitals and related performance information.
The service may process information such as:
- Route or page information;
- General device category;
- Browser and operating system category;
- Approximate country;
- Network performance information;
- Web Vitals and performance measurements.
According to Vercel, Speed Insights is designed so that its performance measurements are not tied to an identifiable individual or reconstructed browsing session.
YNCO Studio also removes query strings and URL fragments from telemetry sent through this integration.
Purpose:
Measure and improve website performance and technical experience.
Category:
Performance analytics.
Cookies:
No YNCO Studio performance cookie is intentionally created by the current Speed Insights implementation.
3.4 Infrastructure and security technologies
YNCO Studio uses infrastructure and security providers, including Cloudflare, to support services such as DNS, network delivery, abuse prevention, and website security.
Depending on which Cloudflare protections are active or triggered, Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security functions such as bot detection, rate limiting, or challenge verification.
These security technologies may only appear under certain conditions and are not necessarily set during every visit.
Purpose:
Security, fraud and abuse prevention, traffic management, and delivery of the website.
Category:
Strictly necessary / security.
These technologies are not used by YNCO Studio for behavioral advertising.
3.5 Campaign attribution parameters
Visitors may arrive at the website through URLs containing campaign parameters such as UTM values.
YNCO Studio may read these parameters in order to understand how a project inquiry reached us.
The current implementation does not create a cookie or persistent browser identifier to store these campaign parameters.
When a user submits a project inquiry, relevant campaign attribution information may accompany the inquiry so we can understand its source.
Purpose:
Campaign and lead-source attribution.
Category:
Analytics / business attribution.
For more information about how submitted lead information is processed, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Technologies We Do Not Currently Use for Advertising
At the date of this Policy, the YNCO Studio website does not intentionally use behavioral advertising cookies or advertising pixels to:
- Track visitors across unrelated websites;
- Build advertising profiles;
- Perform cross-site behavioral targeting;
- Retarget visitors through advertising networks.
If YNCO Studio introduces advertising, remarketing, or other optional tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and implement any consent or preference controls required by applicable law before such technologies are activated where required.
5. Consent and Current Website Behavior
The website does not currently present a general cookie-consent banner solely for the technologies described in this Policy.
Our current implementation is designed around:
- Functional browser storage used to provide the Project Builder experience requested by the user;
- Privacy-oriented first-party analytics and performance measurement;
- Security technologies necessary to operate and protect the website.
The absence of a general banner does not prevent us from providing transparent information about these technologies or from applying appropriate legal bases under applicable privacy law.
If we introduce optional technologies that require prior consent, we will implement appropriate controls so that those technologies are not activated before the required choice is made.
6. Managing Browser Storage and Cookies
You can use your browser settings to:
- View stored website data;
- Delete cookies and site data;
- Clear browser storage;
- Block or restrict cookies;
- Close a browser tab or session to end session-based storage.
Blocking or deleting strictly necessary or functional storage may affect website functionality.
For example, clearing browser session data may prevent the Project Builder from restoring an unfinished draft.
Browser controls vary by browser and device. Please consult your browser's own help documentation for instructions.
7. Third-Party Services
Technologies described in this Policy may involve service providers that process limited technical information on our behalf or in connection with their services.
Relevant providers currently include:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting, Web Analytics, Speed Insights, and related infrastructure |
| Cloudflare | DNS, network delivery, security, and abuse protection |
Other providers used by YNCO Studio, such as OpenRouter, Resend, Upstash, and Stripe, are described in our Privacy Policy where relevant.
They are not listed here as cookie technologies unless they actually create browser storage or similar tracking technology on the YNCO Studio website.
Third-party services operate under their own privacy and data-processing terms.
8. Changes to Our Use of Technologies
Our website and technical stack may change over time.
We may add, remove, or modify browser storage, analytics, security, or other technologies as the website evolves.
When a change materially affects the information described in this Policy, we will update this document and, where required, introduce additional notice or consent controls.
The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
9. Relationship With Our Privacy Policy
